Project Lysdexia - Day 2 [ ../ ]
hammered out a totally useless PSU support bracket - oh well, plenty of time

more rivets. we hate rivets

CD-ROM support bracket out of some angle aluminum we had sitting in the attic.

did we mention rivets suck?

CD-ROM mounting plate doesn't need to be that tall - cut its head off!

dinner - sucks to be poor

dry fit - so far everything fits

while trying to remove the sidegrinder disk, the locking button shattered inside the clam shell... i don't know how. the good news is that new clam shell is $7 + tax at DeWalt.

more angle aluminum - need to mount the diamond plated skin to something...

riveted in place - it's not going anywhere

hard drive bay is riveted to the motherboard trey

PSU is also mounted

diamond plate aluminum is marked out and ready to be cut. we were planning to take it to this guy we know to have it cut with a plasma cutter - not because we can't cut it ourselves, but because it'll look much cleaner that way...

template for the back plate

original door will be recycled, but we need to leave the notches to mount it

optical drives will be stealthed

back plate marked out and ready to be cut
